I am a research fellow at Research Institute on Terrestrial Ecosystems (IRET) of the Italian Research Council (CNR).

I am working on the implementation and validation of a model to estimate the deposition of air pollutants on leaves based on the morphological and physiological characteristics of trees as well as on microclimatic conditions considering also extreme climatic events.

I defended my PhD at Technical University of Munich (TUM) on the research I carried out at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology KIT (IMK-IFU).

My PhD project (Green2clean) included model assessments of ecosystem services of urban trees to improve air quality and microclimate of cities.
